Coastal Nights regional tour

A national act wanted to route a regional Western Australian run, the kind most tours skip because the logistics are punishing. Long one-way transits between towns, an accommodation market that is structurally short of beds, and production gear that usually has to be freighted up from Perth at a cost that kills the margin.

They did not need a booking agent. They needed someone who could make the run viable rather than merely possible, hold the budget while doing it, and be on the road for every date so the act could focus on the show.

We built the routing and the tour budget together, so the schedule and the money were never arguing with each other. Every venue was advanced in full: technical specifications, riders, run sheets, contacts and load-in and load-out schedules confirmed weeks ahead.

Rather than freight a rig up the coast, we sourced lighting, audio and staging from a Pilbara-based supplier and built the spec around what was available locally. Accommodation was booked months out against a tight corporate-rate market, and travel days were planned around the transits instead of on top of them.

On the road, one operator ran it date to date: day sheets out each morning, front of house each night, settlements reconciled after each show, and on-road management holding the whole run together so nothing landed on the artist.
