The lifecycle of a live project, run by one operator
Every project moves through the same four phases. ACE runs all of them, so nothing falls between a brief and a booking, a vendor and a venue, or a promise and a wrap report.
Concept and production design
Before anyone commits budget, we work out what the show actually is: the idea, how it is built, whether the site can carry it, and what it costs. A concept that cannot be delivered or afforded is not a concept, it is a risk.
Talk through an idea- Creative concepting
- Production design
- Site and venue assessment
- Feasibility studies
- Technical specification
- Early costing and budget shape
Plan and advance
This is the unglamorous half of the work and the reason delivery is calm on the day. Budgets are built and tracked, vendors and crew are locked in, freight and beds are booked, permits are lodged, and every technical detail is advanced with the venue and the artists well before the trucks roll.
Bring us in early- Budget build and vendor comparison
- Cash flow and contingency
- Freight, transport, accommodation, travel
- Load-in and load-out scheduling
- Permits and approvals
- Vendor and crew sourcing, contracting, briefing, rostering
- Technical advancing, riders, run sheets
- Contacts, schedules and venue liaison
Deliver
On the ground, one operator runs the room: production management, the show call, front of house, and the safety and contractor supervision that keeps everyone right. For touring work, that extends across the run: routing, tour budgets, day sheets, settlements and on-road management, date to date.
Hand us the room- On-site production management
- Stage and show calling
- Front of house
- Contractor and safety supervision
- Tour routing and tour budgets
- Artist and crew logistics
- Day sheets and settlements
- On-road management
Wrap and reporting
When the trucks leave, the work is not finished. Accounts are reconciled against the budget, the project is evaluated honestly, and you get a report that says what it cost, what worked, and what to do differently. That report is why clients book the next one.
